Trip to W5 and SSE Arena, Belfast
The children had a fantastic day out in Belfast today. We began by visiting the W5, as part of ‘The Big Stem Event’.
The children were able to access over 250 amazing interactive exhibits in four incredible exhibition areas, which provide lots of opportunities to engage with all aspects of science, technology, engineering and maths. The children took part in different activities taking place pre-game, including special science shows and activities.
As part of the build up to the first of this year's Harness Friendship Four Ice Hockey tournament, we went to the Dartmouth & Quinnipiac match. The children enjoyed the atmosphere of attending an ice hockey match, hosted by ‘The Belfast Giants’.
We had a fun packed, busy and most enjoyable trip to Belfast. More memories made today!
We thank Emma Foley, Senior Administrator, The Odyssey for helping us to organise this day.
