Summer Reading Chllenge
This year’s Summer Reading Challenge is titled Wild World Heroes and is a celebration of nature and action for the environment, in partnership with WWF UK. I have attached a flyer that I hope you will be able to include in your schools newsletter to parents.
Hopefully as many children as possible will take part to maintain their reading levels over the summer and to raise awareness of the issues and actions that will make a difference to the environment.
In Omagh Library we are hoping to have a large wall mural of a beach which has unfortunately become covered in rubbish that the children can remove over the summer by reading books – the more they read the more pieces of rubbish we can bin.
I am looking for your help in this, I have attached a template of some rubbish for the children to colour in for the mural. I would like to collect any completed pieces around the 16th of June if convenient
