Pancake Tuesday - the last day before Lent. Traditionally, pancakes were eaten on this day to use up foods (such as sugar, fats and eggs); before the 40-day fasting season of Lent began.
A lovely day for our school trip to ‘Titanic Centre’, Belfast, to discover the sights, sounds, smells and stories of the ship, as well as the people and city that made it.
