Memories to treasure forever during COVID 19!

14th May 2020

The pupils are keeping busy learning indoors and equally as important outdoors.  The pupils have shared photographs of how they have been keeping busy.  Thank you for sharing these memories with us all.

The activities include playing handball, visiting grandad’s farm, feeding lambs/animals, experimenting through ‘World Around Us’, gardening, litter picking, ‘footing’ turf in the bog, making May Altars, walking/running the dog, art activities and visiting grandparents.

Even a past pupil, Rebecca Mc Garvey got a job recently helping to plant a few seeds.

Think the Mullan Clan have to be applauded for keeping up the tradition of the bog in Mullaslin (Patrick, his son Cormac and his cousins and past pupils,  Eoghan and Darragh Mullan). Some pupils helped deliver food hampers/vouchers to the older/vulnerable/isolated people in our school community.

Cathal and Aidan Farley were busy making pictures for their mummy and all the NHS workers during this critical time.

Rosie celebrates her 9th birthday today during lock down! A date to remember - the launch of our school website!
