The girls and boys enjoyed getting outdoors today to look for signs of Spring in our local community. The children observed many signs of Spring on their nature walk and along the hedges - the flowers, birds’ nests, lambs’ wool on the wire, buds on the trees and the farmers busy at work.
Daniel met his Granny Teresa and Grandad Kevin. The children enjoyed having a little chat with them. Granny Teresa showed them where ‘Brackey School’ was. Grandad Kevin went to this school.
Many years later our school was built - Drumduff Primary School.
Daniel was delighted to meet Grandad Kevin, who celebrates his birthday today.
