Miss Aileen Mc Caughey, along with the children, enjoyed a PDMU lesson on washing their hands. They conducted an experiment, the glitter representing all the nasty germs that live on their hands! They shook hands with each other to show how easily the germs can spread.
Next they predicted how effective paper towels would be at removing the ‘germs’. They discovered that in order to completely remove the germs, they need to wash our hands thoroughly with soap and water! P.S- they made sure to wash their hands thoroughly after their experiment!
