Canavan Cup 2020

Evening all,

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control the Canavan Cup will not take place this year. HOWEVER… we have an excellent alternative. We are launching a Canavan Cup Virtual Competition which is open to all students in your whole school from P1-P7. 

This is a two part competition:

1. Pupils must re-create their favourite GAA moment that they have ever seen. This could be anything from a save, block, score etc. Pupils can be as creative as possible and even get family involved in their clip.
2. Pupils have to use their imagination to perform a skill or a piece of magic with a football.

We have some fantastic prizes on offer. The school with the best engagement will receive a set of Murphy’s goalposts. We have individual prizes for entries ranging from signed jerseys, hats and gloves.

I would be grateful if you could post the following details and video on your social media and online learning platforms so pupils can see and get involved.
