We thank Helen from Berries and Twine who visited our school today.
Helen worked with Mrs. Darcys’s class first. The children had many opportunities for learning through this flower workshop - learning about different flowers and shrubs as well as sorting their foliage and creating their own Easter Floral Arrangements.
Mrs. Mc Elholm and her class got the opportunity for outdoor learning. They also got to learn about pot plants and the conditions needed to grow flowers. They all had the opportunity to create their own pot of Spring Flowers.
The pupils all went home with a very creative flower arrangement/pot.
Both pupils and staff thoroughly enjoyed this very interactive workshop.
